Collage in Felt with Elizabeth Armstrong -Book https://victorianfeltmakersinc.wildapricot.org/events
Saturday, 23rd June 2018 at 9am - 4amSunday, 24th June
Location:Hartwell Church of Christ hall. 246 Highfield Road, Hartwell
Collage is a technique I have used for many years to create an intricate surface on my felts. They are rich in shading and texture.
With the addition of many fibres and fabrics we will create at least 2 wall hangings that can be enhanced with stitch and appliqué.
You may decide to turn yours into a bag or cushions or as an addition to a garment.
Collage felts provide the perfect opportunity to utilise all those little snippets and odd little leftovers that don’t seem at all useful, but really come into their own in these works.
You know those lovely tiny treasures that you can’t bear to throw out? Collage them – definitely Collage them!
Hoping to see you in class!……………………………….
