Location: Hartwell Church of Christ, church hall, cnr Highfield Rd. and Milverton St. Hartwell

This event is in the past.

A two day workshop making a cape or poncho using raw wool such as English Leicester.

In this two day workshop we will explore the properties of raw, untreated natural wool fibre such as English Leicester, Mohair and Alpaca locks as well as other natural fibres (silk, flax, banana, soy, bamboo, etc.).  You will learn how to create different textures on lightweight, drapeable nuno-felt with exciting visual and sensual properties.  You will design and make a felted garment with individualised styling such as a cape, poncho or wrap.

Let your wild side rise to the surface.  Expect to get in touch with your primal instincts during these two days.
